After great anticipation, The DWB Times’ long favorite award, Best New Drummer, is announced. Our judges have the difficult task of selecting a winner based on the following criteria.

  • Ability to groove
  • Tempo
  • Cool factor
  • Stick twirling
  • Ability to occasionally
  • pick up a bar tab
  • Lack of, and or
  • expunging of criminal history
  • Possession of one or more of the
  • following: PA, trailer,
  • tour bus, flare gun

And the winner is…Grant Thelen! Grant Thelen of the Devon Worley Band is our award winner! His prize package includes 135 tour dates with the Devon Worley Band and a month’s supply of Big Wood Beer.
